There are few things more precious and important in our walks as Christians that we take for granted regularly. Good spiritual friends are one of them.  In moments of pure physical, emotional, and spiritual exhaustion our friends are there to pick us up in one way or another, whether it be an encouraging word or a listening ear.

In our upcoming movie, Escape, C. Thomas Howell (The Amazing Spiderman) has such a friend in John Rhys-Davis (Indiana Jones, The Lord of the Rings) during his captivity.  Torn apart by the traumatic loss of his new born daughter and now his life threatening capture Thomas is angry and spends the better part of his imprisonment cursing God.  John, however, has found peace in knowing God has a plan for him and intern acts as a spiritual rock for Thomas to stand on in this difficult time.

Ask yourself, who is one of your spiritual friends?  Who would say that you are their spiritual friend?
