Natasha Bure has known that she wanted to be an actress since she was a young teen. And thankfully, the 25-year-old, who was baptized last year, had her mom, entertainment veteran Candace Cameron Bure, to help “guide” her—both in her personal journey and now as a producer on Natasha’s new film for Great American Family, “A Christmas for the Ages.”

"I absolutely love producing. I've produced more than 30 films. I think people don't quite realize that. So when I get to only have my producer hat on and not my actor's hat, it is so enjoyable for me,” Candace said in a recent interview. “And then to see my daughter's face on screen is incredible.”
There’s something extra special about getting to work with your own daughter, and Bure says she couldn’t be prouder of Natasha wanting to follow in her footsteps.
“My daughter is an incredible actress. She really shines in this movie and she also sings,” Bure said. “There’s nothing more joyful to a mom or a dad to have your kids in your family business. [My husband and I] feel a real privilege and honor that we have these great relationships with our children and get to not only be their parent, but work alongside them as they are adults. Natasha is a pro, she’s been in the business a long time.”
Even though Bure had her “producer hat” on, she was able to take the time to coach Natasha during the making of her new film. In fact, the Great American Pure Flix fan favorite, who is starring in her own new film this holiday season, relished the opportunity to be behind the scenes and help bring out the best in her daughter’s talents.
"When I can just sit there at the monitors behind the camera, watching the scenes develop and run in and give my notes of what to improve, like I'm in a ‘creative high.’ This is the best thing that I could be doing,” she said. “And because [Natasha is] so good, it's like … I also know her intimately. So there's nuances. I'm like, ‘Give me this, give me that.’ There's like a short speak and it's really wonderful.”

And despite being busier than ever between her work as an actress, executive, and running her own production company, Candy Rock Entertainment (which is also co-producing the Smallbone brothers’ upcoming film “Unsung Hero”), Bure always makes time for her family.
"I truly am grateful for my family," she said. "I'm so blessed to have an amazing husband and three children, but also incredible parents and sisters and a brother and extended family. My family's very, very close and I don't take it for granted, I know not all families look like that."
