God made the ultimate sacrifice: sending His son to die so we don’t have to. With that act alone, God shows us what love looks like…God’s love is sacrificial. In turn, the first letter of John goes on to say:
Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us. - 1 John 4:11-12 (NIV)

What is the meaning of God's love?
Deuteronomy 10: 12-13 (NIV)
And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God ask of you but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, to love him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to observe the Lord’s commands and decrees that I am giving you today for your own good?
