"Travel the Road," featuring veteran missionaries Will Decker and Tim Scott, is one of the faith-based TV shows you'll want to check out. It's the ultimate reality show, featuring Decker and Scott answering a dangerous, yet rewarding calling: spreading the Word of God.

Before we explore a bit more about Decker and Scott, it's important to note that "Travel the Road" is far more than a faith-based TV show; it's also a Christian non-profit aimed at spreading the gospel. Here's a description that sheds a bit more light on what Will Decker and Tim Scott present:

"Travel the Road is a two-fold, non-profit ministry, focused on bringing the Gospel to all mankind. Part One: We actively preach the message of Christ Jesus to remote people groups who have never heard the Gospel, or are currently cut-off from active mission work. Part Two: We film our expeditions, and then, present them in a weekly television series to motivate the church to be active in accomplishing the Great Commission."

Tim Scott

Tim Scott has been traveling the world for quite some time. According to his bio, he embarked on his first journey in 1998 when he was just 19 years old. His bio explains, he embarked on his journey "armed only with his backpack, Bible, a change of clothes, and the words of Christ Jesus that repeated in his heart, 'Go into the world and preach the Gospel to all creation."'

Scott has gone out into the world in an effort to spread Jesus in places where Christ is most unknown. His efforts, along with those of Will Decker, are captured throughout the travel video expeditions shown in "Travel the Road."

Will Decker

Will Decker is also a missionary with a passion for Jesus. He, too, began traveling around the globe in 1998, and has been to over 100 nations spreading the gospel since that time.

According to Will Decker's bio, his personal motto is: "Time is short." This powerful reminder is simple, yet profound, and we see it being lived out in every episode of "Travel the Road."

One of the Unique Faith-Based TV Shows

"Travel the Road" is a truly unique travel video show, as it's a reality show with a mission. As noted, Scott and Decker use the series to "motivate the church to be active in accomplishing the Great Commission." What's the great commission, you ask? This biblical call is found in Matthew 28:16-20.

It is here that we see Jesus talking with the disciples after the resurrection. Here is the full text of Matthew 28:16-20 (NIV):

"Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. Then Jesus came to them and said, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.'"

Thus, "Travel the Road" inspires viewers by living out these powerful commands from Christ. Throughout the series, we see these brave missionaries going out to "make disciples of all nations."
