The worldview of the movie is strongly animistic; the surface plot of the movie surrounds survival of the white lion, but this is solely supported by the underlying belief that animals cause tribal peace and prosperity; the white lion is described as a gift from the ancestors and as a star from heaven turned lion; there are elements of mother-cub affection, friendship, loyalty and courage; the lion faces multiple trials consisting of multiple lion fight scenes, some light eminent danger by wild-fire and other wilderness predators, you see animals getting eaten by lions whose mouths are covered in blood, there are two scenes where lions get shot by hunters, you don’t see this directly; a character hits another character to the ground with the butt of a rifle; light upper male nudity; there is briefing pipe smoking; no other immoral content.
