Newsboys Release ‘In God We Trust’ Music Video as New ‘God’s Not Dead’ Film Set to Hit Theaters

We’re less than three weeks away from the premiere of “God’s Not Dead” In God We Trust,” which will hit theaters on September 12. While you wait to see the movie in theaters, the Newsboys released the official music video of Newsboys’ “In God We Trust,” which will be featured in the film.

The song, Newsboys said, speaks to the hope we have in Christ in the face of the world’s uncertainties.

“Songs like ‘In God We Trust’ talk about how, as Christians, we see the world differently,” explained keyboardist Jeff Frankenstein in a recent interview. “We believe in the forces of good and evil, and that God is our only hope.”

The song was released as part of the band’s new album, “Worldwide Revival (Part One),” and is the perfect complement to the latest installment of the “God’s Not Dead” franchise, which centers on contemporary issues related to freedom of speech, religious liberties, and the role of faith in public life.

“God’s Not Dead: In God We Trust” tells the story of Pastor David Hill (David A. R. White), who amid political and spiritual turmoil, steps up to run for Congress after an incumbent's sudden death. Battling against Peter Kane, who aims to erase religion from policy, David's fight becomes a beacon of hope and optimism for people seeking moral leadership in a divided world.

In addition to White, the film also stars Isaiah Washington, Dean Cain, Samaire Armstrong, Ray Wise, Scott Baio and Charlene Tilton. There will also be guest appearances by former Governor Mike Huckabee, Raymond Arroyo, and of course, the Grammy Award-Winning band Newsboys.

Great American Pure Flix is partnering with Pinnacle Peak Pictures to bring this faith-inspiring film to the big screen as a Fathom event, and we are confident that fans will leave the theater feeling a sense of hope and purpose in the midst of this election season.

As the song goes: “Some will trust in chariots of war/ Some believe in nothing anymore/ 'Cause kingdoms rise and kingdoms fall/ But there is One who stands above them all.”

Don't miss your chance to witness the inspirational and powerful story of "God's Not Dead: In God We Trust"! This film is timely and engaging with a captivating story and a renowned cast that is sure to keep the whole family entertained.

Mark your calendars for September 12 and get your tickets today! (And while you wait, stream the first four installments of this franchise right here on Great American Pure Flix!)
